“I believe that a good view sometimes needs distance.”

I am drawn to stories that explore what remains when the world changes. I enjoy wounded cities, old cafés, and conversations that are in no hurry.

For over two decades, writing has been at the center of my creative work, spanning screenwriting, advertising, journalism and translation.

This year marked the publication of my debut novel, Boguizanogu (Godknowswhere), a coming-of-age story set in the summer of 1980, the first summer following the death of Josip Broz Tito, Yugoslavia’s long-standing authoritarian leader.

Throughout my career, my creative practice has been rooted in storytelling and narrative development. I have worked as a screenwriter, script consultant (script doctor), and documentary film producer, exploring different ways of shaping stories and bringing them to life.
